I'm Annaka and welcome to my site, Imperfect Musician. I'm a performer, educator, and entrepreneur... and a life long perfectionist! I've since learned that a convincing performance doesn't come from perfection (what is that in music anyway?!) but from performing with freedom and joy!
And with the addition of the Imperfect Music Studio, it is my hope that my students, both young and old, would also find the joy in experiencing music personally and being able to share that with others (whether on or off the stage!).
And when failure inevitably comes my way, I have learned to embrace it as an opportunity to learn and grow. But then, is it truly a failure? I think not!
