Musikgarten is an internationally recognized early childhood music education program. Annaka offers Musikgarten classes for children ages 0-5.

About

I'm delighted that you are considering music classes for your child. Research has shown that we are all born with an aptitude for music, but that aptitude diminishes if it is not actively nurtured early in childhood.

Early childhood music classes at the Imperfect Music Studio are designed with a keen understanding of how children learn, in both a general sense and, specifically, how they learn music. Classes nurture the child’s music aptitude by engaging children and their caregivers in singing and movement activities which help attune the ear, refine the voice, and develop a rhythmic body through which music can be expressed.

Family Music

Family Music is a multi age level curriculum - perfect for all the littles in your family! Class activities bring the joy of music and movement to babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and their caregivers through bouncing, moving, dancing, listening, and playing simple musical instruments like rhythm sticks and drums. Folk and classical music are used to create a environment to develop pitch, rhythm, and musical awareness. Children and their caregivers will bond in the rich and nurturing environment, home materials, and developmentally appropriate activities.

Ages: Newborn through 5 years
Time: 10:00 - 10:30 a.m.
Location: 600 S St Vrain Ave, Unit 1, Estes Park, CO 

Mondays, September 9 - December 16
14 week semester, NO classes on November 18, 2024

Fall 2024 Tuition for New Families:
          $260/semester (includes family materials & instrument set)
          $194/semester for additional family members

Fall 2024 Tuition for children who have previously enrolled in a Musikgarten class at the Imperfect Music Studio:
          $235/semester (includes family materials)
          $194/semester for additional family members

Discounts:

  • Early Bird Discount: Register by August 26, 2024 to receive a $25 discount per child.

  • Check discount: Pay by check to receive a $10 per child discount

  • Babies 4 months (on or before September 9th) & under free with registered sibling.

Policies

Please review the all Imperfect Music Studio early childhood program policies and guidelines prior to the first Musikgarten class of the semester.

Scholarships

Enrichment scholarships are available for qualified applicants with financial need through the EVICS Family Resource Center. To be considered for a scholarship stop by the EVICS office to complete the application and other required paperwork.
